Overview:

The FAEA (Foundation for Academic Excellence and Access) Scholarship 2025–26 is a merit-cum-means scholarship for students who have passed Class 12 or are in the 1st year of undergraduate studies in Arts, Commerce, Science, Engineering, Medical, or other professional fields at any recognized institution in India.

It aims to support socially and economically disadvantaged students by covering their full cost of undergraduate education.

  • Total number of scholarships: ~50 (may vary based on fund availability)

Eligibility:

  1. Academic Qualification:

    • Passed Class 12 from a recognized board in India OR

    • Enrolled in 1st year of aUG degree at any recognized college/university in India

  2. Course Eligibility:

    • Must be pursuing UG studies in Arts, Commerce, Science, Medical, Engineering, or other technical/professional disciplines

  3. Social & Economic Criteria:

    • Must belong to SC/ST/OBC/BPL categories OR

    • General category students can apply if:

      • Scored 90% or above in Class 12, or

      • Got admission in a top-ranked Institution of Excellence

  4. Other Conditions:

    • Students whose Class 12 results are pending can apply later after results are declared.

Benefits:

Selected students will receive full or partial funding for the entire UG course, which includes:

  • Tuition fees

  • Maintenance allowance (hostel/mess charges)

  • Other allowances for:

    • Travel

    • Books

    • Clothing

  • Second-class travel (round trip) for interview + reimbursement for one accompanying person (for female candidates)

  • Scholarship is renewable annually based on academic performance and fund availability.

Application Process:

  1. Apply Online at the official website: https://www.faeaindia.org

  2. No documents are required at the time of initial application.

  3. After successful form submission, you’ll get a 9-digit Confirmation Code ,keep it safe for all future correspondence.

  4. If shortlisted, you will:

    • Be called for an interview in a metro city

    • Need to carry original documents

    • Be evaluated by a national selection panel

  5. Preliminary shortlisting based on eligibility and application and interview at a metro city (travel reimbursed).
